Where are we

The company has experienced exciting growth over the years which has boosted a move from multi-data centers on-prem to a cloud-first environment. This lift and shift is the starting point of this journey and now we want to focus on the transformation to make full use of AWS and enable teams to holistically operate and pivot their products.

Where do we want to go

Our goal is that all teams are enabled and skilled to take every aspect of their product forward. AWS is one component that will accelerate our product development. Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation of all environments and a true DevOps culture are all stepping stones in the future of getting to teams that are 100% self-sufficient.

What we need you to do:

  • Drive and iterate the SRE & infrastructure strategy and operation for our worldwide products to ensure production availability and resilience with a strong focus on enabling rapid product delivery.
  • Strategise and drive toward fully automated environments in AWS with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automated monitoring with performance metrics.
  • Foster a cloud-first, DevOps culture where security and quality are from the first step not an afterthought.
  • Recruit, upskill and retain a world-class performing team with a huge focus on diversity, equity and inclusion achieving greatness through others and manage a team of managers.
  • Work with Product and Delivery in building industry-disrupting, robust and innovative solutions.

Ticket to play

  • Experience in optimising processes and driving performance improvement across multiple squads to deliver better and more efficient products.
  • Experience of delivering scaling architectures, enterprise solutions with Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Proven track record of managing and growing high-performance, talented teams. This includes day-to-day line management, driving personal growth and organising the team’s goals/OKRs.
  • Experience in modern DevOps culture and practices in containerised cloud-based environments.
  • Experience in a hands-on DevOps/SRE remit and managing a team that creates and maintains multiple products, particularly in a portfolio environment.
  • Guiding engineers on best practices on key architectural concepts as needed.
